Who we’re looking for:

We’re expanding our Marketing team and are looking for a driven and creative Content Marketing Manager to develop and implement Encamp’s content strategy.


As the Content Marketing Manager for Encamp:

The Content Marketing Manager will manage our day-to-day editorial calendar and strategy, and lead our in-house content team as we scale.

You will be responsible for outlining and managing Encamp’s ongoing editorial calendar while identifying and developing key content pieces that map across the buyer journey. The ideal candidate has a high level of persistence, flexibility, and enthusiasm for growing a brand’s voice and market presence through eBooks, white papers, blogs, presentations, webinars and other means of thought leadership. 


Responsibilities:

  • Direct the ongoing management of Encamp’s editorial calendar that aligns Encamp’s social media, website, and earned media assets in support of major announcements and ongoing business objectives.

  • Works with the Marketing team, leadership, and other team members across departments to recognize opportunities for internal and external communications.

  • Able to confidently define and execute the appropriate strategies to support content development. 

  • Continually looks for opportunities to increase SEO rankings and develops content in line with SEO objectives.

  • Assists with executive communications, including presentations, written communications, and video scripts to tell Encamp’s story.

  • Leads the content team towards delivery of world-class content and that drives awareness, consideration and differentiation across all stages of the customer journey.

  • Brings the perspective and insights of an experienced content strategist, brand advocate, and editor to the team.

  • Helps the content team establish frameworks that hold our content to high standards of clarity, effectiveness, and style, ensuring that all of our content is on-brand.

  • Assists in securing targeted speaking engagements, industry appearances, podcasts, etc. for key company leaders.

  • Crafts abstracts and any presentation/talk tracks associated with speaking engagements.

  • Manage content production for a variety of content formats: ebooks, whitepapers, blog posts, infographics, video, interactive content experiences, and more.

  • Track and report content performance metrics and use that data in content-planning cycles.


Requirements:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in content marketing

  • Experience in B2B SaaS technology communications.

  • 1-3 years’ experience as a people leader

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment while also working independently and autonomously in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrable strength in writing clear and impactful press releases and an understanding of AP Style.

  • Detail oriented and ability to multitask.

  • Genuine communications savvy – a strong understanding of media relations, solid copywriting and editing skills, and a strong acumen and experience with digital communications.

  • Working knowledge of SEO best practices with a desire to learn, collaborate, and optimize content to drive organic traffic. 

  • Strong project management skills – must be able to organize work in a methodical and rigorous manner.

  • Comfortable learning and familiarizing yourself to the EHS industry; gathering data, making connections and translating that into actionable insights.

  • A track-record of pioneering strategies and techniques for communicating news and information to audiences in ways that inspire, inform, and engage.

  • Ability to define key metrics and goals related to both functional and project level progress and success.
