Built by our own EHS professionals, the Encamp platform makes environmental compliance and reporting faster, easier, and more accurate by eliminating data silos and arduous technology implementations and adoption life cycles. Who we're looking for:

We’re looking for curious minds who want to make a big impact, and who don’t mind going fast. We want achievers to help us keep innovating the EHS platform of the 21st Century, and to delight the thousands of EHS specialists who are using our solution across the US today.


The ideal candidate:

Will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for employee experience, people operations, and talent acquisition. Reporting directly to the company’s Chief Executive Officer.


As the Head of People for Encamp you will:

  • Build a People and Talent function that’s optimized for a high empathy, high performance, distributed workforce. Grow and manage a team of people operations/human resources and talent acquisition individuals to help you achieve this mission over time.

  • Work in close partnership with the CEO to set a vision and strategy for Encamp’s culture that aligns with our mission, vision, and values.

  • Employee Experience:

    • Lead the Encamp employee experience across onboarding, training and development, and performance management

    • Lead Encamp’s Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives 

  • People Operations:

    • Oversee compensation and benefits, compliance, employee relations, employee analytics, HRIS

  • Talent Acquisition:

    • Oversee Talent Acquisition function encompassing talent strategy, recruiting and sourcing, candidate experience, and employer branding


Requirements:

  • 8+ years relevant people and talent experience, including on a remote or distributed team.

  • A proven track record of building, leading and innovating in the HR and Talent space with competencies in the following areas: new employee onboarding, talent acquisition, culture development, DEI, compensation planning, benefits, HR compliance, learning, employee career development, and employee retention.

  • Built, scaled, and led a People function from the ground up - or had a front-row seat to it in a less senior role.

  • Ability to think strategically and develop scalable solutions to support company goals.

  • Experience building culture and supporting Inclusion & Diversity programs.

  • Experience working in a leadership position within the HR/People function at an early, high-growth stage company.
