Our ideal candidate:


Will contribute to the success of our Encamp by leading the team responsible for outbound lead generation. This is a director/manager level position that will have a leadership voice within the company and will be tasked with building a multi faceted team facing off against multiple segments over time. This leader will need to recruit, train, and retain best in class reps as well as run the operational and administrative tasks of this department. Encamp is a distributed workforce and a big part of this job will be creating a culture within this team of happiness, motivation and connectivity. Data will drive investment and strategy and this leader will hold a key role in understanding what works at the top of the funnel. This role is one of the most important in our sales organization, and we need a self-starting, motivated, passionate person to lead Encamp into its next phase of growth.

As the Enterprise Sales Development Manager for Encamp you will:

  • Work with senior leadership to build on our existing lead generation strategy  as well as develop consistent process to to drive top of funnel metrics

  • Hire, lead, and mentor fantastic sales talent to qualify, nurture and deliver leads to our Account Executive team

  • Cultivate and maintain a culture of perpetual coaching, routine enablement, and servant leadership

  • Set and communicate clear objectives for individual team members - and hold the team to them

  • Lead the team to hit our top of funnel targets 

  • Motivate individuals and team to exceed objectives through coaching, regular broadcast of results, and creative incentives

  • Utilize SFDC & SalesLoft email and call metrics/reports to improve sales performance

  • Recruit, develop, and retain exceptional talent

Requirements:

  • 3+ years in Software sales as an IC and/or manager; experience managing a Sales Development team in a fast-paced, greenfield software environment preferred

  • 1+ year of leadership experience

  • Strong experience with cold calling and emailing

  • A history of consistently performing above team quota and being able to forecast accurately

  • Effectively lead teams with right combination of data and strong personal leadership

  • Strong skills with Salesforce, Salesloft, Gong, Sales Navigator, and Zoominfo 

  • Passionate about training and developing a team

  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and closing skills with the ability to sell to decision-making levels

  • Consistent track record of identifying team needs and successfully implementing solutions

  • Experience prospecting into the Fortune 500 and other enterprise organizations
